Mr. Motley is a seasoned executive consulting for a variety of healthcare services companies within operations, finance, data analytics, revenue cycle, and strategy. Most recently, Mr. Motley served as the chief financial officer for BreatheAmerica, Inc., the parent company of Precision Healthcare. Mr. Motley architected a data driven approach to Precision’s operations, which led to savings of approximately $10,000,000 of EBITDA over the first twelve months. Further, Mr. Motley was instrumental in negotiating the sale of Precision to IVX Healthcare in October 2020, providing investors of Precision with a 4.0x return on capital.
Mr. Motley previously served as a Credit Officer within UBS Investment Bank’s leveraged lending group covering Energy, Technology, Media, and Telecommunications as well as Consumer Products. Prior to joining UBS Investment Bank, Mr. Motley was a Principal at Accounting, Economics, and Appraisal Group, a regional litigation support firm in Nashville, Tennessee, where he calculated damages for dissenting and oppressed shareholders. Additionally, Mr. Motley held positions at Alvarez & Marsal and Lattimore, Black, Morgan, & Cain providing quality of revenue and earnings estimates as well as valuation opinions for both tax and financial reporting engagements in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Motley earned a Masters of Science in Finance and a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Finance from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Motley earned a Certificate in Private Capital Markets from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California
